Privacy Notice
This notice explains how your personal data is processed when you use www.mithramakina.com or contact us by email or phone. It is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
1. Data controller
Mithra Makina San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.
Address: Ostim OSB Mah. 100. Yıl Bulvarı, Prestij İş Merkezi No:55 B/33, Yenimahalle, Ankara, Türkiye
Email: [email protected]
Phone: +90 (312) 503 28 09
2. Personal data we process
- Contact and quote form: your name and surname, email address, the topic and content of your message (including any other information you add to it) and the page you sent the form from. The form accepts at most 3 submissions per address in 10 minutes; for this, a key derived from your IP address and the time of submission are stored in a file on the server. Entries older than 10 minutes are not deleted on a schedule but the next time the form accepts a submission, so an entry may remain longer, until the form is used again. If the message cannot be delivered by email, it is kept in a log file on the server so that we can still answer your request.
- Contact by email or phone: the name and contact details you give us and the content of the correspondence or call.
- When you visit the site: technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and time of visit, and a session cookie (see the Cookie Policy).
3. Purposes
- To receive, assess and answer your enquiries and quote requests; where your request concerns a job, to prepare a quotation and hold pre-contract discussions,
- To operate and secure the site and prevent misuse (e.g. automated form submissions),
- To meet our legal obligations and provide information to authorities when they request it.
4. How we collect data and legal grounds
We collect data from you when you fill in the form, email us or call us, and technical data automatically and electronically when you visit the site. Legal grounds (KVKK Art. 5(2)):
- necessary for entering into or performing a contract (quote requests) — Art. 5(2)(c),
- necessary to comply with our legal obligations — Art. 5(2)(ç),
- necessary for our legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (answering general enquiries, site security) — Art. 5(2)(f).
5. Who we share data with
- Our hosting and email service provider: form messages are delivered by email to [email protected].
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): the site is delivered through Cloudflare for security (blocking attacks and misuse), speed and cookie-free visitor counting (Cloudflare Web Analytics). When you access the site, your IP address and browser information are also processed on Cloudflare servers outside Türkiye. Legal ground: our legitimate interest in delivering the site securely and reliably (Art. 5(2)(f)). This is a transfer abroad under Article 9 of the KVKK.
- Google LLC (USA): the Google maps on the Contact page are not loaded when the page opens; instead, a static map image that we made from OpenStreetMap data is shown. A Google map is loaded from Google servers only when you click “Load map (Google Maps)” in the map area; at that moment your IP address and browser information are sent to Google. If you do not click, no data is sent to Google for the maps. Your choice is not saved: when you open the page again, the Google map is again not loaded. Legal ground: your explicit consent (Art. 5(1)); this is a transfer abroad under Article 9 of the KVKK. (The “Get directions” link takes you to the Google Maps website, where Google’s own terms apply.)
- Public authorities legally entitled to request it, when they do so.
On request through the channels in section 6, we will tell you which transfer condition of Article 9 of the KVKK the transfer to Cloudflare relies on.
6. Your rights
To exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK, you can send a written request to our address above or use the other channels listed in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller (for example, an email to [email protected] from an email address you have previously given us). We will answer within 30 days at the latest.
